In this one-hour lecture, Filmmaker Lisa Molomot will talk about making documentaries in Tucson and the American Southwest more broadly. As a local filmmaker, Molomot likes to explore stories that greatly interest her, her community and beyond. Her latest two films (Missing in Brooks County and The First Birdman) are about the final goals of her elderly participants. She will share these inspiring stories and a behind the scenes look at the making of these films.
