Public Service

Service is a pillar of the Arizona Senior Academy. Beyond our internal activities, ASA members actively contribute their time and expertise to dozens of organizations across the Tucson region.

Resources for the General Public

We are committed to keeping our educational and cultural content accessible to the community through digitized presentations:

Community Partnerships

  • Non-Profit Leadership: Our members share professional skills with Tucson-area organizations focused on the arts, music, philanthropy, and civic leadership.

  • Vail & Tucson Public Schools: We maintain a deep investment in the Vail (VUSD) and Tucson Unified (TUSD) districts. Members mentor students, consult on enrichment programs, judge science fairs, and serve as classroom guest speakers.

  • University of Arizona: Our long-standing partnership includes frequent lectures and concerts by U of A faculty and students. Additionally, several ASA members hold faculty positions or fellowships across diverse departments, from Astronomy and Physics to Medicine and Business.
