The quantum world provably behaves in ways that contradict everything daily life teaches us, yet its strangeness leaks through anyway, holding up the floor beneath you, lighting the sun, and running the phone in your pocket. This equation-free hour (with no physics background needed) tells that story as a mystery. We meet Max Planck, who found that energy comes in indivisible lumps in what he called an act of desperation; Einstein, who insisted God does not play dice, and lost; and John Bell, whose simple logical trap let experiments prove that entanglement is real. Then we separate science from marketing: quantum computers promise new medicines and broken codes, not faster laptops, and “quantum healing” is a counterfeit. You will leave able to read a quantum headline knowing what is genuine, what is hype, and what is at stake.
