Brand, an amateur historian who has a keen interest in the Hispanic development in the Americas and Native American Backgrounds, will explain the later years of Padre Kino, after his arrival in the region in 1687. He’ll introduce the Jesuits and their first Priest, Padre Kino, who provides an example of some of the habits and practices of the early settlers between 1687 and 1711.
