Karen Jimenez: BS in Nursing & RNC, Certification candidate of The School of Applied Functional Medicine, resident of Academy Village
Monday, February 24, 2025,
2:30pm – 3:30pm,
ASA Koffler Great Room and Zoom
Karen Jimenez will explain how Functional Medicine addresses the underlying causes of an individual’s health and wellness issues resulting from common lifestyle choices. These modern lifestyle choices are very appealing because they offer convenience, require little effort, and are socially encouraged, but often cause individuals to struggle to find optimal health. She will review the kinds of problems common to these poor choices and tell us how we can shift our perspective and practice to stay optimally healthy by maximizing our good opportunities, minimizing poor choices, and prioritizing our health. As a result, you will become more empowered over your own health and less dependent on medications.
