People walk the paths and roads that make up the Camino de Santiago for a variety of reasons. For many, it’s a pilgrimage they undertake for spiritual/religious reasons; for others, it could be for self-reflection, connection with nature, a physical challenge, or a disconnect from daily life. Danny Valenzuela is going to tell us the story of his 485.4 mile walk on the French route of the Camino de Santiago in Spain in 2023. He includes a brief history of the Camino de Santiago with photos and his thoughts during his month-long journey from St. Jean, Pied-de-Port, France to Santiago de Compostela where the shrine of the apostle James is located. Sit back, relax, and walk the Camino with him!
