Meet Jim Matsushino, new ASA Board Member

Diane Holtz met with Jim Matsushino who is one of our incoming ASA board members. He is currently employed as the Fine Arts Coordinator in the Vail School District. She discovered that he is very interested in learning more about the Arizona Senior Academy and its residents. Diane was happy to share information about our community and our variety of arts programs which include concerts, theater, visual arts classes, and galleries to display the creativity of our residents.
Jim is a native Tucsonian. His love of music resulted in a career as a band director before moving to his new position as Fine Arts Coordinator in the Vail school district.
As a proponent of lifelong learning, Jim had some exciting ideas about how the villagers and students could all benefit as we learn together. His experience and interests will bring a new viewpoint to our ASA board.
