The ASA Library

The ASA Library offers a curated collection of over 700 books available to all ASA Members. Housed within the ASA building, the library is accessible whenever the building is open.

Our Collections

The library features two primary print collections:

The Southwest Collection: A specialized selection of books primarily focused on the history, culture, and nature of the Southwest.

Resident-Authored Books: A collection showcasing the work and scholarship of our own ASA residents.

Beyond print media, we offer:

Great Courses Collection: An extensive series of educational DVDs. Click this link for the list of titles contained in this collection.

DVD Movie Collection: A selection of films available for member checkout. Click this link for the list of titles contained in this collection.

Borrowing: To check out any materials, please use the notebook located on the low shelving to record your name and the items.
Returns: Place returned items in the designated basket and note the return in the checkout notebook. Our staff will handle all reshelving.

Donations

We welcome donations that enhance our specialized focus. Due to space constraints, we strictly limit new additions to books directly related to the Southwest. Please place any potential donations in the Return basket for staff review.
