Tammy McKay, Program Mgr., UNS Energy
John Roebuck, Renewable Energy Programs Coordinator, TEP
Wednesday, November 4, 2020, 2:30-3:30 pm, an ASA Zoom Webinar*
Tucson Electric Power (TEP) is embarking on a path toward a sustainable future. This consists of laying out a plan over the next 15 years to provide more than 70% of their power from solar and wind resources, which would reduce carbon emissions 80% by 2035. The complete “TEP: 2020 Integrated Resource Plan of June 2020” is available at www.tep.com.
This ASA Webinar will focus on TEP’s programs in renewable energy and smart energy efficiency such as “GoSolar with TEP,” which offers an easy way to go solar without installing an individual solar array, by buying shares in a local solar source. The speakers will specifically address options available to homeowners at The Academy Village, including the various pricing plans available, and will answer questions about the options most beneficial for homeowners with installed solar arrays. They will also present a menu of TEP rebates and discounts available for energy-saving products and services including AC tune-ups, duct sealing, electric vehicle chargers, heating and cooling systems, ENERGY STAR* LED bulbs, smart thermostats and water heaters.
