In addition to the regularly scheduled schedule (Event Schedule), many short term and longer term activities are available to ASA members.  This page will keep track of them.  

Spanish Classes

These classes are provided at three levels: beginning, Advanced Beginning, and Intermediate.
The classes are held in the large seminar room of the ASA Building.

Beginning Spanish: Thurs., 9:00 a.m.
Advanced Beginning:  Thurs., 10:00 a.m.
Intermediate:  Thurs. 11:00 a.m.

PLAY READING AND DISCUSSION

 Nancy Fitzgerald and Virginia Richardson will lead a reading and discussion of a ground-breaking short play, written in 1916, called “Trifles” by Susan Glaspell.

  Creative Writing  Class

 with Carol Teal: Six-week class focussing on writing in your authentic voice whether memoir, fiction, or creative nonfiction. Leave each class with new piece of writing. Optional homework will be provided.

Two Sections: Mondays: 3 – 4 p.m.          
                                  February24 – March 30
                             Tuesdays: 9:30 – noon  
                                  February 25 – March 31
